A look at side the Japan Meteorological Agency. This tour con sited of a lecture on the way information is translated at the agency along with the way they develop model guidance at the main office in Tokyo.

A good deal of information was learned but just to see all the Meteorological gadgets and toys they had to create the weather forecast in Japan and to be the RSMC for all of the Western Pacific was good enough.
There is a reason why we often say JMA is the official forecast. This video shows you how much personal and equipment they are using to create weather forecast.
