PIA-5/ALBAY: Department of Agriculture Bicol reports a total of P1.5-B worth of damages in agriculture in the region brought by typhoon Glenda.
NFA reports some 17,764 bags of rice distributed for relief operations in Bicol. Fifty cents to one peso increase per kilo has been noted in market after the typhoon. Coordination with DepEd is ongoing for schools to serve as venues where people can buy rice on weekends.
